9 years of 1-on-1 teaching online, specialized in helping beginners I used to teach for classes in universities in Beijing for around 2 years, then switched to online lessons. There was 3 years that I taught on italki as a full-time job, and I got quite famaliar with this website as well the way to interact with students online. Later I joined an education company to produce teachimg materials for online Chinese classes. From September 2020, I returned here and became a freelance teacher again.

At that time, he had been taking some Chinese lessons with a native Spanish speaker. However, I found that his learning method could be improved and realized I could be his Chinese teacher. Since our common language is English, this also gave me an opportunity to practice my English language skills. I discovered that I could use pinyin to help my friend pronounce Chinese correctly. The Chinese language is very different from other languages - both in grammar and pronunciation. This is why I teach my students step by step, in a fun and relaxed way. :)
