Although I do not speak English very well but If you decide to study with me, I will do my very best to teach you what you want to know. 저도 외국어를 공부해 봐서 알지만 무겁고 딱딱하게 공부하면 문법 생각에 말문이 트이지 않고 긴장해서 알던 말도 안 나오는 경우가 많았습니다. 저는 수업을 통해서 편안하게 즐겁게 학생분들께 되도록 한국어를 많이 사용하시게 하면서 성취감을 느낄 수 있는 수업을 하고 싶습니다.

TPRS (Fun and easy method) with 5 years of experience I had 3 years of teaching English to Koreans before I started teaching Korean. Because of these experiences, I assumed that teaching Korean would be easy for me. However, the reality was different from my imagination. Since I had never been a beginner in the Korean language, it was very hard for me to relate to the students. In the beginning, I had a hard time understanding how non-Koreans process Korean in their brain as a language. So, I had to put a lot of effort to see Korean sentences from the student’s perspective. Now with more experience, I have much more understanding of how students would feel when they encounter new sentences or expressions.

Especially for adult learners, fear of making mistakes can often be the biggest barrier to speaking a new language. In my classes, you are encouraged to speak freely, try new expressions, and make mistakes without pressure. I strongly believe that adult language learning should be fun-based. Whether your motivation comes from work, exams, or just pure interest, learning is most effective when it’s enjoyable and relevant to your life.
