Since obtaining my qualification, I have been teaching at a local Japanese language class and continue to do so today. I also have about two years of experience teaching online. Rather than simply "teaching," I focus on a coaching approach, adapting each lesson to suit the individual needs of my students. I truly enjoy teaching Japanese and hope to share not only the language but also Japanese culture and values.

Since I am good at speaking in English, I teach English as well. I studied English and Psychology at University of Arkansas at Little Rock while I was working as a full time. When I don't teach, I like to just relax, eating sweets, watching movies, walking at the park, going to the gym, shooting hoops, a listening to the student's violin recital at the Juilliard, some readings, coloring and knitting straight line scurf.

I have been teaching Japanese on italki since May 2022. I completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in July. So I can teach you Japanese using different methods. I studied English in New Zealand and Portuguese in Portugal from scratch and currently studying Spanish so I understand the challenges and joy of learning new languages.

I have been teaching Japanese face-to-face for 5 years I have been teaching Japanese face-to-face for 5 years I have a lot of experience teaching Japanese. Some of the students I've taught passed the JLPT N2 in just one year, even though they couldn't speak Japanese at all. The first step in learning Japanese is to not be afraid of making mistakes. I completed all the requirements of Japanese Languages Teacher (420 hours). And I have Bachelor of Commerce and I’m qualified for a financial planner. And I passed the English proficiency test (Eiken) grade 2. I strongly believe that a good portion of any lesson should feature at least some speaking practice and so I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where you feel you can make mistakes. I encourage you not to be afraid to make mistakes, because when you learn from your mistakes, that is how you progress. I will do corrections throughout the lesson or at the end of the lesson, depending on the pace. I'd love to help you fulfill your dreams and achieve your goals :)

I have over 750 hours of online and 100 hours of in-person teaching experience with students from 20 countries. In 2022, I collaborated with a Japanese public organization to establish Japanese classes for expatriates in Tokyo. I am also a former elementary school teacher and hold a Master’s degree in Translation Studies from University College London, enabling fluent communication in English.
