With 25 years of teaching experience (20 as an independent tutor), I specialize in structured, school-style lessons tailored to your goals. Whether you’re starting from scratch or polishing fluency, I’ll help you build and improve skills systematically. When teaching I take my work seriously. A scheduled lesson becomes part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what we have been doing, thus it is easy for me to check the content of our previous sessions. I used to teach students in physical classrooms. In 2021 I started using Skype for my lessons (today it's Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same. Meaning a thorough explanation of the grammar with several carefully tailored examples, exercises, homework, checking the student's progress, listening and reading comprehensions and once the student's knowledge progresses sufficiently, having a conversation.

In 1992, I started to teach Italian as a foreign language for all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have taught one to one, groups and also full immersion lessons as requested. My certified Italian language teacher diploma is from the University of Siena ( Ditals I ) and from the University of Perugia ( DILS PG II ).
