Having learned a few languages myself, I know how important it is to keep lessons engaging and practical. That's why I try to do as many interactive exercises and drills as possible while keeping the grammar stuff to a minimum, where possible. But the truth is, you will have to learn some grammar when learning German, there's no way around it. But I promise I'll make sure to make the grammar parts as fun and engaging as possible. Plus I provide all the teaching material and exercise sheets, so you won't have to worry about getting books or anything like that.

relaxed german conversations ich würde sagen ich bin eine geduldige Lehrerin und lasse dem Schüler Zeit in aller Ruhe die Sätze zu konstruieren.( jedenfalls hoffe ich das haha) Das grösste Problem ist, finde ich, dass Leute sich unter Druck gefühlt setzen eine Sprache in kurzer Zeit beherrschen zu müssen und schnell in selbiger Sprache antworten zu müssen. Wenn man sich weniger unter Druck gesetzt fühlt, kann man sich auch besser ausdrücken. Ausserdem versuche ich das Selbstbewusstein des Schülers in der Sprache zu stärken.

You and your goals are the main focus of my lessons. I plan each class around your interests and what you want to achieve, using a mix of course books (following the CEFR) and my own materials. I also like to bring in current topics and social issues, so our lessons stay relevant and engaging.

Language learning needs structure, humour, and the right kind of obsession. I bring all three. I’ve taught Dutch and French in secondary school, and German and Dutch in adult education. I’ve been tutoring since I was a student myself — in law, languages, and study skills. My lessons are conversation-based, flexible, and adapted to your needs. I won’t give you a step-by-step textbook course — instead, I’ll coach you through real-life communication, at your level and pace. I don’t teach Dutch from scratch, but if you already speak a little, I’ll help you build fluency, confidence, and clarity. Because language is a skill — and you only learn it by using it.

Na minha opinião, o estudo de um novo idioma engloba as diversas áreas do conhecimento, como: a escrita, a pronuncia, a leitura e interpretação. Também auxilio alunos para a preparação de provas de proficiência da língua alemã. Tenho um próprio material compilado que disponibilizo a cada aluno, como também faço exclusivamente se necessário.

Was mich von anderen FSP-Lehrern unterscheidet: - Ich programmiere die Eingabemasken für die Dokumentation im Krankenhaus, z.B. für verschiedene Arten von Anamnesen, und weiß, wie detailliert gefragt werden muss. - Ich lese routinemäßig viele Arztbriefe und erkenne bei Schülern, wenn Pflichtinformationen fehlen. - Mein Studium vermittelte medizinische Fachsprache gezielt auf ärztlichem Niveau. - Keine FSP-Bücher - laut Schülern oft zu oberflächlich für die Prüfung. - Mein Unterricht basiert auf echter Klinikpraxis.

I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it. Whether you are a complete beginner or can already have a basic conversation, I think the most effective way to learn is to try to speak and listen in order to get used to a language. Additionally, I am happy to read articles and texts of your interest in German together and learn new words and become comfortable with the language this way.
