Goethe certificate in methodology and didactics: Trained teacher with over 8 years of experience I am very lucky because I love my profession. But passion alone is not enough to be a good teacher. You also need didactic, methodical and pedagogical skills. For this reason I decided to attend the distance learning course "DaF Methodik und Didaktik" at the Goethe Institute in June 2019. I successfully passed the final exam. I am convinced that teachers need to be constantly trained, too. So they are able to offer their students the best teaching performance.

Explaining something yourself makes it easier to understand. Speaking a foreign language can feel uncomfortable at first, but practice in a relaxed atmosphere makes it easier. I provide a safe space where students can try things out without embarrassment Ich möchte meine Schüler ermutigen, viel zu sprechen. Mein Unterricht ist ein Dialog, kein Monolog. Wer selbst präsentiert, versteht Prozesse leichter. Fremdsprachen zu sprechen ist anfangs oft unangenehm, doch Übung in entspannter Atmosphäre macht es leichter. Ich biete meinen Schülern einen geschützten Rahmen, in dem sie sich ausprobieren können.
