粤语中的「第四声＋第四声」音调组合（Tone Pair 4–4）对母语是普通话的学习者来说常常很难掌握。因为粤语的第四声和普通话的第三声在音高上很接近。但普通话中有「变调规则」，比如“洗脸”（xǐ liǎn）常常读作“xí liǎn”，学习者习惯了一个字自动变成第二声。在粤语中就没有这种变化，所以连续发出两个低降调的音会让人不习惯。本集我们将一起练习这些容易读错的发音组合，进行短时间而集中的训练！

English Version :
Tone Pair 4–4 in Cantonese can be tricky for Mandarin speakers because the pitch of Cantonese Tone 4 is similar to Mandarin Tone 3. However, Mandarin has tone sandhi rules where Tone 3 changes to Tone 2 in words like 洗臉 (xǐ liǎn → xí liǎn), so Mandarin speakers aren't used to keeping two low tones in a row. In this episode, we’ll tackle this challenging pair with short but focused pronunciation practice.

'소곤소곤' (So-gon-so-gon) describes the sound of talking very quietly so that others cannot hear. It’s the affectionate whispering sound that only we can hear, unknown to anyone else.

But this word is about more than just the volume of your voice. As you lower your voice and talk so-gon-so-gon, the distance between two people becomes much closer. The more we whisper so-gon-so-gon, our hearts gather in the safest and warmest space in the world.

Just like a quiet Hanok porch under the moonlight, or a silent alleyway when everyone is asleep.
