このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

さて、今回は海外旅行の続きに戻ります。
2月の終わりに行った、ドイツとオランダへの海外旅行の話をしています。

今回はオランダの2日目、マーストリヒトを歩いた、という話です。

ここは、先日仲良くなったitalkiの日本語の先生に教えてもらった場所です。彼女がオランダに住んでいた時に、1度行ったことがある場所で、とても気に入った、ということを聞いて、今回の旅行で行くことに決めました。

少しマーストリヒトについて説明します。みなさんは聞いたことがありますか？僕は全く知らない街でした。

世界史を勉強していた人は知っているかもしれないですが、マーストリヒト条約があった街ですね。1991年12月、マーストリヒトでEC（欧州共同体）首脳会議で合意された欧州連合条約が結ばれた場所です。 EU（欧州連合）が創設されー新しく作られ、経済・通貨同盟の設定、共通の安全保障政策、欧州市民権などを規定したんですね。ここからEUができたんですね。

それだけではなくて、歴史的な場所も残っている、古き良きものが残りながら、モダンな印象もある、とてもおもしろい街でした。

いろいろおもしろいところがありました。

この本屋さんは、昔、教会だった場所です。
今までこの教会を使って、プロレスがあったり、いろんなことを試したようですが、今は本屋さんになっています。
奥にはカフェがあり、教会の雰囲気を感じながら本を探すことができます。これははじめての体験でした。

それから、この本屋にはたくさんの日本の本がありました。特にマンガですね。
鬼滅の刃
デスノート
鋼の錬金術師
ドラゴンボール
SPY×FAMILY

などなど。

ジブリの本もありました。
本当にいろんなマンガが置いてあって、とても嬉しかったです。日本からこんなに離れた場所に、日本のマンガを買ってくれている人がいると思うと、ワクワクしました。


本屋の話だけしましたが、昔の要塞の跡が残っていたり、街の中心には大きな川が流れていたり、カフェやレストラン、雑貨や服屋さん、本当にたくさんの店もありました。

いろんな景色が楽しめたマーストリヒトはとてもおもしろかったです。

ということで、今回はマーストリヒトの街を歩いた話をしました。

今、日本に旅行をする人もとても増えていますね。
