1)	A: 你好！ 我叫李明，你叫什么名字？
            Nǐ hǎo! Wǒ jiào Lǐmíng, nǐ jiào shénme míngzì?
        B: 你好！我叫大卫。
            Nǐ hǎo! Wǒ jiào Dàwèi.

2)	A: 你家里有几口人？ 
             Nǐ jiā lǐ yǒo jǐ kǒu rén?
        B: 我家有四口人。一个姐姐，两个弟弟和我。
             Wǒ jiā yǒu sì kǒu rén。Yī gè jiějie, liǎng gè dìdi hé wǒ.

3)	A: 那个高大的男人是谁？
             Nà gè gāo dà de nǎn rén shì shéi?
        B: 他是我们的英语老师。
             Tā shì wǒmen de Yīngyǔ lǎoshi.

4)	A: 马丁是英国人还是美国人？ 
            Mǎdīng shì Yīngguó rén hái shì Měiguó rén?
        B: 马丁是美国人。 
            Mǎdīng shì Měiguó rén.

5)	A: 你的小女儿今年几岁了？
             Nǐ de xiǎo nǚ'ér jīn nián jǐ suì le?
            她今年五岁了。
            Tā jīn nián wǔ suì le.

Greeting and introduction 

“呢” 的对话 （Dialogue with "ne" in Chinese)
Today we will talk about the character “呢“ in Chinese dialogue.
One of uses is about the topic just like the quiz followed.

Quiz - 1
Q: 我吃过饭了，你呢？（Wǒ chī guò fàn le , nǐ ne?)
 A: 我很好，谢谢！ (Wǒ hěn hǎo, xièxie.)
     我还没吃。 (Wǒ hái méi chī.)                              ✔
     我也喜欢吃。 (Wǒ yě xǐ huān.)
**The topic is about “I have already had meal, what about you?”  So the answer should be 
     related to the topic, and tell the truth.

Quiz - 2
Q: 我是中国人，你呢？（Wǒ shì Zhōngguó rén, nǐ ne?)
A: 是的。 (Shì de.)
   我是加拿大人。 (Wǒ shì Jiā ná dà rén。）          ✔
   我不知道。 （Wǒ bù zhī dào.)
** The topic is about nationality. So the answer should be related to the topic, and tell the truth.

Q: 我还不会做中国菜，你呢？（Wǒ hái bú huì zuò Zhōngguó cài, nǐ ne?)
A: 我会做饺子。 (Wǒ huì zuò jiǎozi.)                    ✔
    我不喜欢吃中国菜。 (Wǒ bù xǐhuān chī Zhōngguó cài.)
** The topic is about can cook Chinese dishes or not. So the answer should be related to the topic, and tell the truth. You can tell the specific dish you can cook too.

Q: 我有一个四岁的儿子和一个三岁的女儿，你呢？
  （Wǒ yǒu yí gè sì suì de érzi hé yí gè sān suì de nǚér, nǐ ne?
A: 我喜欢女孩。 (Wǒ xǐhuān nǚ hái.)
    我只有一个儿子，他已经十二岁了。(Wǒ zhǐ yǒu yí gè érzi, tā yǐjīng shí èr suì le.)   ✔
** The topic is about how many kids you have in your family and the ages. You should answer according to this topic.

Q: 我觉得看中文电视可以帮助学习汉语，你呢？ 
  （Wǒ jué de kàn zhōng wén diànshì kěyǐ bāngzhù xuéxi Hànyǔ, nǐ ne?)
A: 我也这样想。（Wǒ yě zhè yàng xiǎng。）           ✔
    中文很难。 (Zhōng wén hěn nán.)
**The topic is asking your opinion about watching TV in Chinese can help learning Chinese? You should feed back your opinion on it.

An anecdote is a quick story about something of interest, usually with a singular theme or lesson. Anecdotes are no different than the stories told among friends, but when they’re used in literature, they can accomplish more than merely passing the time. 


Types of Anecdotes: 
Although there is no formal grouping, anecdotes tend to fall into the categories of 
cautionary, 
characterizing, 
humorous, 
inspirational, 
reminiscent. 

However, these are not mutually exclusive and can be blended together

Listen to the sentences, and answer if each sentence is correct or not. The answer exaples are below.
