はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストの32回目です。今週は色々なニュースがありましたね。イギリスのボリス・ジョンソン首相が辞任したり、遊戯王の漫画家が事故で亡くなったりしました。今朝は、安倍元総理が狙撃されて亡くなったニュースを聞いて、大変驚きました。日本では銃が使われる事件は年間10件以下しか起こらないため、今回の事件は非常に珍しいです。日本は平和な国だと思われていますが、実際は若者の貧困が深刻になっています。犯罪は増えていくかもしれません。

Hello. This is my podcast episode 32. There's been a lot of news this week. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson resigned, and a Yu-Gi-Oh cartoonist was killed in an accident. This morning, I was very surprised to hear the news that former Prime Minister Abe was killed by a sniper. This incident is very unusual in Japan, as there are less than 10 incidents a year in which guns are used. Japan is considered to be a peaceful country, but in reality, poverty among young people is becoming more serious. Crime may increase.

今日は、日本の夏の習慣を紹介したいと思います。皆さんの国では、夏に家族や親戚に会う習慣がありますか？日本では、８月の「お盆」と言う祝日に家族に会う人が多いです。カードやプレゼントを送ることもあります。これは「暑中見舞い」と言って、７月上旬から８月上旬ごろに送ります。「暑中」は暑い時期と言う意味で、「見舞い」は誰かを訪ねて、様子を見に行くことです。カードには「暑中お見舞い申し上げます」というフレーズが使われます。「申し上げる」は「言う」の謙譲語です。謙譲語とは、敬語の一つで、自分の行動に使います。プレゼントにはとくに決まりはありません。プレゼントを贈らない場合もあります。

In Japan, many people meet their families on a holiday in August called 'Obon'. Cards and gifts are sometimes sent. This is called 'Shochu Mimai' and is sent from early July to early August. ‘Shochu' means 'hot season' and 'Mimai (politer: Omimai)' means visiting someone to see how they are doing. The phrase "Shochu Omimai Moushiagemasu (I wish you all the best in the hot weather)" is used on the card. The phrase ’Moushiageru’ is the humble form of ‘Iu (to say)’. Humble expression is one of the honorifics and is used for one's own actions. There are no specific rules for gifts. In some cases, gifts may not be given.

こんにちは、Japanese with Yoshikoへようこそ！皆さん、お元気ですか？今日は、「日本の先輩・後輩文化」について話したいと思います。本日のフレーズは「ときめく」です。意味を知らない人はどういう意味か想像しながら聞いてみてくださいね。

皆さんは「先輩・後輩」という言葉を聞いたことはありますか。日本の学園アニメを見たり、日本に留学、または日本の会社に就職したことがある人はなんのことかわかるでしょう。今から先輩・後輩とは何か、そして私の経験談をお話します。
まず、先輩・後輩とは日本の主に年齢によるヒエラルキーで、だいたい中学から始まり、会社の中にも存在します。年齢が低い後輩は、年齢が高い人、つまり先輩を敬わなければなりません。小学校では、生徒同士なら学年に関わらずフレンドリーに話します。しかし、中学生になるとほとんどの人が部活に入るため、自然と先輩・後輩という関係を学んでいきます。部活では具体的にどう敬うかというと、後輩は先輩に対して敬語を使うことはもちろん、準備・片付け・球拾いなどの雑用をし、先輩だけが使えるスペースや物があります。同じ部活ではない年上の人に対しても「先輩」という感覚を持つ人が多いと思います。大学に入るともっと年齢がバラバラになるし、部活に入る人が減るので、もう少しフランクな関係になりますが、それでも上級生に対しては基本的に敬語を使います。学年が違っても年が同じ場合は、年が違う人よりも仲良くなる可能性が高いです。年齢が同じと分かった瞬間に急に打ち解けてタメ口になることもよくあります。
会社では先に入社した人が先輩になります。といっても1年以内などそんなに入社時期が変わらない場合は先輩という意識はあまりないと思います。転職した場合、2-3歳しか変わらず、上司でなければ、カジュアルな関係になりえます。上司・部下という関係だけではなく、先輩・後輩という関係でも先輩が食事を奢る場合があります。
入学・入社が同じ人のことを同期といい、同期とは特別な関係を築きます。部活でも会社でも苦楽を共にするので、強い絆を結ぶのです。特に部活の同期は一生の友達になることが多いですね。
私が中学生、高校生だった時は部活の先輩は憧れの存在でした。バレーボール部に入っていたのですが、先輩皆が素敵に見え、「●●先輩みたいになりたい！」という気持ちが常にありました。後輩に対しては、「かわいいなあ〜」という気持ちです。高校生になるとさすがに自分より上手い後輩がわんさかいましたが、後輩は可愛がりたい存在でした。部活以外ではというと、下級生の女子生徒が上級生の男子生徒に恋心を抱くのは珍しくありません。私も中学一年生の時は、バレー部の同期2人と一緒に隣で活動していたバスケットボール部の3年生3人にときめいていました。会社は、企業文化によりますが、同期で同じチームや別のチームで昇進した人に対してはカジュアルな関係性を保っていました。

どうでしたか？今日のフレーズは「ときめく」でしたね。「ときめく」の一つ目の意味は「喜びや期待などでどきどきする」です。二つ目の意味は「その時にもてはやされている」です。例文です。「女性がときめく言葉10選」「今晩、今をときめくモデルが登場します！」それではまた、ばいばーい！

Dentro de la sociedad azteca, el guerrero águila ocupaba un lugar destacado. Junto con el guerrero jaguar y el guerrero serpiente, conformaba una clase aparte dentro ejército de la Triple Alianza liderada por Tenochtitlán.

Quienes se destinaban a ser guerrero águila eran seleccionados con esmero por los maestros del calmécac y del tepochcalli, las dos escuelas donde los aztecas recibían una instrucción obligatoria. Aprendían a seguir la palabra antigua, a respetar los consejos sabios de los más viejos. Antes de dominar el arte de la guerra aprendían a curar. El guerrero era ante todo alguien capaz de defender con valor, su fe en la vida. Al término de muchos años de un duro aprendizaje, los mejores estudiantes eran consagrados guerreros águila.

El cuauhpilli (guerrero águila) ascendía los diferentes grados militares mostrando firmeza y coraje en los combates. La realización de actos heroicos y la captura de enemigos en el campo de batalla eran recompensados. Los guerreros águila constituían la élite del ejército, y entre ellos se distinguían por sus insignias, la riqueza de su ornamento así como la belleza de las plumas que ornaban su penacho. Los de más alto grado tenían un penacho con sólo la parte superior del pico del águila.
