I'm still learning how to do this podcasting thing, but I'm trying to share my words anyway. I speak quite quickly in this episode... Sorry! I will try to speak slower next time. 

There's a question for you to answer at the end - in audio or written form - so if you have 10 minutes to listen, and then 5 minutes to answer the question that end -- why not GIVE IT A GO?! (which is another way of saying -  GO FOR IT! DO IT!) You have nothing to lose and lots to gain!

Using your words to speak about things that matter to you - that mean something to you - is a great way to create output and use your English. If you don't want to answer my question - you could try writing freely for 5 minutes. Or you could speak into your phone and talk about how you're doing/feeling today - or what's on your mind. It may feel strange, at first, and that's normal! But over time, speaking or writing - just for yourself - will start to feel good - and it's a WONDERFUL habit to start to build.

はい。こんにちは、洋平先生です。皆さんお元気ですか。
はい。今日は”楽（らく）”、 ”な形容詞（けいようし）”ですね、についてお話ししたいと思います。えー”楽”はどういう意味でしょうか。 
うんうんえー、「こういう姿勢（しせい）でいると楽です」、うん、つかれないとか、リラックスができるという意味がありますよね。えー「気が楽だ」はい、難しく考えなくてもいい ま。これもリラックスができるというような意味ですよね。えーまあいい意味が ほとんどですが。えーまあこれ、実は結構（けっこう）悪い意味にもなる時があるんですよ。

こういうことは聞いたことありますか。えー「楽をするな！」 これちょっと不思議（ふしぎ）な日本語ですよね。うん、楽をするな。
これはですね。どういう時に使うかと言いますと、えーと仕事や、勉強、トレーニング、スポーツなんかで、本当にやらなければいけないことを 少し抜（ぬ）かしている、少ししてない時、うん、そういう人を見た時に「楽をするな」と言うんですね、「ちゃんとしろ！」、「きちんとしろ！」 という意味です。
はい、えーと、同じ漢字を使っている言葉で、”楽しい” という形容詞がありますね。これ”い形容詞”ですね。いadjective、えー、”楽しい”と”楽”のちがいは わかりますか。もうちょっと今の説明、”楽” の説明を聞いてて、まあまあ、大体わかると思うんですけど、”楽しい”。

「楽しい映画え見ていて、はははと笑ってしまう」
映画は”楽しい映画”ですよね。 ”楽な映画”とは絶対言わないですね。うん。

「ディズニーランドへ行って、とても楽しかった」
は言いますね、じゃ、楽だ、 楽だったは言いますか。

「ディズニーランド行って楽だった」
、うん、これは絶対に言わないですね。うん、「彼女と ボーイフレンド、彼氏とデートして、とても楽しかった」、はいますね。
ま、楽だった、「彼氏といて、とても楽だった」、うーん、これは言わないですけども あ、これは言うときもあるんですねえ、例えば、あー、あまりいい文じゃないんですけど、 え、

「私のボーイフレンドはかっこよくないけど、一緒（いっしょ）にいて楽だ」、
はい、どういう意味かわかりますか。ま、リラックスできるという意味ですね。えー、すごく おしゃれをしなくてもいいし、うん、一生懸命（いっしょうけんめい）お話しなくてもいい、という意味ですね。こういう意味で、 まあ、ボーイフレンドといて、ガールフレンドといて楽だ、という風に使うことはまあ結構あるんですけどね。ま、”楽しい”「デートをして楽しかった」が、普通（ふつう）の言い方ですね。
 
はい。で、私の生徒たち、今までレッスンでですね、 仕事の面接（めんせつ）の練習をしたいと、リクエストをもらったことが何回かあるんですけど、えー、そのうちの何人かがですね、例えば、私が面接官（めんせつかん）interviewer になって、
「どうして この会社を選んだんですか」

と聞いたら、 えー
「楽そうだからです」、

と言った生徒が何人かいるんですけど、「楽（らく）そうです」。うん、はい、「会社の仕事が楽そうです」。これは絶対に言ってはいけない言葉です。

「楽そう」これも「仕事が楽そう」、ちょっとネガティブのイメージがあるんですよ。 
うん、かんたんで誰でもできる。うん。これ。あなたがinterviewer 面接官（めんせつかん）だったら気持ちがいいですか？とても嫌ですよね。うん、これは絶対に言ってはいけません。
うん、ま、これはなんと答えればいいか。えー、
「仕事があっていて、そういう仕事が好きで、楽しそうだから」

だとまあいいですよ。うんうん。
会社の雰囲気（ふんいき）が良くて、えー、社員さんたちがとても仲が良さそうで楽しそうだからでもいいですよね。 
はい、どうでしょう。えー、”楽” のイメージが見えてきましたか。あんまりこれ、ちゃんと教えてる先生いないかもしれないですね。はいはい、じゃあ今日も聞いてくれてありがとうございました。
