我家楼下有一只可爱的小狗，它聪明又活泼，大家都很喜欢它。最近它学会了很多新本领，会听指令坐下、握手，还会帮忙叼东西。
因为大家经常夸奖它，这只小狗慢慢变得骄傲起来。每天出门的时候，它总是把头抬得很高，尾巴翘上天，不愿意和别的小狗一起玩耍。它觉得自己是最厉害的小狗，谁都比不上自己。
有一天，小区里来了一只新的小狗。新小狗跑得更快，跳得更高，还会更多有趣的本领。大家都围着新小狗称赞，没有人再关注骄傲的小狗。
这时，它终于明白了自己的错误。它慢慢放下翘起的尾巴，不再骄傲自大。后来，它主动和别的小狗交朋友，认真学习新本领，变得越来越优秀。
这件事也告诉了我一个道理：不管我们取得多大的进步，都不能骄傲。虚心学习，才能一直成长。
