日本には６月ごろに、「梅雨（つゆ）」という雨が多い季節があります。毎日雨が降ると、外に出るのが嫌になるかもしれません。でも、雨の日もそんなに悪くないですよ。家で雨の音を聞きながら本を読むと、とてもリラックスできます。

In Japan, around June, there is a rainy season called "Tsuyu." When it rains every day, you might get sick of going out. However, rainy days aren't all that bad. I can relax by reading a book at home while listening to the sound of the rain. What do you like to do on rainy days?

【Vocabulary】
梅雨（つゆ）ー　 rainy season (especially in Japan)
季節（きせつ）ー　season
嫌（いや）になる　ー　to get sick
音（おと）ー　sound
リラックスする　ー　to relax

【Grammar Notes】
🔶Proper noun + という + Noun　(Noun) called (Proper noun)
Example: 
梅雨（つゆ）という季節（きせつ）
the season called "tsuyu"
ドラゴンボールというアニメ
the anime called "DRAGON BALL"　

🔶noun/short form + ～かもしれない  may/might ~
Example: 
嫌（いや）になるかもしれません。
You might get sick of it.
来年（らいねん）、日本（にほん）に行（い）くかもしれません。
I might be going to go to Japan next year.
彼（かれ）は学生（がくせい）かもしれません。
He might be a student.

🔶verb stem + ～ながら　while doing~
Example:
雨（あめ）の音を聞きながら本（ほん）を読（よ）みます。
I read a book while listening to the sound of the rain.
歩（ある）きながら食（た）べないでください。
Please don't eat while walking.

🔶short form + ～と　whenever / if~ 
Example: 
本（ほん）を読（よ）むと、リラックスできます。
Whenever I read a book, I can relax.
たくさん食（た）べると、眠（ねむ）くなります。
Whenever I eat a lot, I get sleepy.

Hello everyone, and welcome to my Ukrainian learning podcast!
My name is Daria, and I am a Ukrainian language teacher from Ukraine.

In this podcast, we will learn simple Ukrainian words and phrases together.
Today’s topic is: life, daily routines, and small happy moments.

Life can be busy and stressful sometimes, but small things can make us happy.
For example:
a warm cup of tea, good music, a walk in the city, or talking with friends.

In Ukrainian, we say:

“Життя” — life
[zhyt-TYA]

“Щастя” — happiness
[SHCHAS-tya]

“Друзі” — friends
[dru-ZI]

“Місто” — city
[MIS-to]

“Чай” — tea
[chai]

Now let’s learn a few simple sentences.

“Я люблю життя.”
It means: “I love life.”

“Я п’ю чай.”
“I drink tea.”

“Мої друзі дуже добрі.”
“My friends are very kind.”

“Я гуляю містом.”
“I walk around the city.”

In Ukraine, many people enjoy simple cozy moments:
drinking coffee, walking in parks, listening to music, and spending time with family.

Here are a few more useful words:

“Ранок” — morning
“Вечір” — evening
“Музика” — music
“Сім’я” — family
“Кава” — coffee

Try repeating them slowly.

Learning a language step by step is important.
You do not need to be perfect.
The most important thing is practice and enjoying the process.
