Asking Where Something Is:

Де [place]? (De [place]?) – Where is [place]?
Example: Де метро? – Where is the metro?

Important Direction Verbs:

Йдіть (Ydit') – Go
Поверніть (Povernit') – Turn
Пройдіть (Proydit') – Walk past
Перейдіть (Pereydit') – Cross

Extra Direction Words:

Праворуч (Pravoruch) – Right
Ліворуч (Lívoruch) – Left
Прямо (Pryamo) – Straight ahead
Тут (Tut) – Here
Поруч (Poruch) – Nearby/Next to

Sample Dialogue:

You: Вибачте, де метро? (Excuse me, where is the metro?)
Local: Йдіть прямо, потім поверніть ліворуч. (Go straight, then turn left.)
You: Дякую! (Thank you!)
Local: Будь ласка! (You're welcome!)

Cliente: Buongiorno! Vorrei comprare della frutta e della verdura.

Venditore: Certo, signora! Che tipo di frutta e verdura sta cercando?

Cliente: Vorrei delle mele, delle banane e delle arance come frutta. Per quanto riguarda la verdura, mi servono delle carote e dei pomodori.

Venditore: Ottimo! Abbiamo delle mele rosse e verdi. Quante ne vorrebbe?

Cliente: Mi dia per favore quattro mele rosse e due mele verdi. 

Venditore: Certamente. E per le banane, preferisce quelle mature o ancora verdi?

Cliente: Preferisco le banane mature. Me ne dia quattro, per favore.

Venditore: Benissimo. E per le arance, le preferisce dolci o leggermente acide?

Cliente: Preferisco le arance dolci. Posso prenderne cinque?

Venditore: Assolutamente. Ora passiamo alla verdura. Quante carote desidera?

Cliente: Me ne servono due.

Venditore: Perfetto. E per i pomodori, li vuole maturi o ancora un po' acerbi?

Cliente: I pomodori maturi. Ne vorrei quattro.

Venditore: Devo aggiungere qualcos'altro?

Cliente: No, grazie. Penso che sia tutto.

Venditore: Va bene. Ecco a lei le sue mele, banane, arance, carote e pomodori. Il totale è di 12 euro.

The fear of making mistakes persecutes many people, regardless of their achievements, age and social status. Where does the fear of making a mistake come from, and how to overcome it?

Many people are hesitant to do something serious, not so much because they are afraid of failure, but because of fear of public condemnation or censure.

Often, such anti-motivation is a consequence of a hidden inferiority complex: a person is so dependent on public opinion that he loses the ability to make decisions on his own.
