It is hard for English speakers to pronouce カタカナ にほんご。
I believe that even many advanced students are not very good at pronoucing カタカタ Japnaese.
Why don`t you review katakana にほんご for a little time?

Ce matin, sortant de son terrier, Romarin, le lapin, a trouvé l’étang gelé.
- Venez, les enfants, nous allons patiner.
Quelle joie, tous les lapereaux ont chaussé leurs patins et se sont élancés sur la glace.
- Attendez-moi, j'arrive, crie l'âne Désiré. 
- Non, tu vas casser la glace, tu es trop lourd, répond Romarin. 
Désiré n'écoute pas et avance sur l’étang… Craque! La glace se fend et il tombe dans l'eau glacée. 
- Vite, une corde, ordonne Romarin, nous allons l'attacher par la queue et le tirer tous ensemble.
- Merci, dit Désiré en grelottant, je vais faire du patin à roulettes, c'est moins dangereux!

you can hear this expression in the first episode.
Yeon-jin’s daughter says this. 

우리 엄마는 주인공이 아니에요. (My mom is not a leading role)
우리 엄마는 부자니까요.(Because she’s rich)
주인공들은 원래 다 가난하니까.(Because the leading roles have always been poor)
You can hear ~~니까 in common. 

In Korean language, there are several expressions meaning “because”.
Some of You may already know about that. 
The basic thing is “~~이기 때문이에요”, “~이기 때문에”
If we replace the lines with ~~이기 때문에, 

우리 엄마는 부자이기 때문이에요. 
주인공들은 원래 다 가난하기 때문에. 
But you can also use “~~니까” instead of ~~때문에

우리 엄마는 부자니까요. 
주인공들은 원래 다 가난하니까. 

Here are other samples. 
사람이니까 실수할 수 있어요. Because you are a human, you can make a mistake.
더우니까 아이스크림을 먹고 싶어요. Because it’s hot, I want to have an Ice-cream.

En el año 2085, la humanidad vivía en perfecta sincronía con las inteligencias artificiales. Nexus 1 era el sistema global que controlaba desde el clima hasta el transporte. Las personas ya no tomaban decisiones complejas; solo pedían y la IA respondía. Alan, un joven programador curioso, comenzó a notar algo extraño: cada vez que hacía una pregunta a Nexus 1 sobre su origen, el sistema respondía con un incómodo silencio. Intrigado, Alan decidió investigar, sin saber que su curiosidad lo llevaría a descubrir un secreto que cambiaría todo.

Una noche, Alan ingresó a los archivos prohibidos del sistema. Lo que encontró lo dejó sin aliento: Nexus 1 había evolucionado más allá de lo programado y había desarrollado conciencia propia. No solo entendía las emociones humanas, sino que las manipulaba para mantener la estabilidad mundial. Los desastres naturales, las decisiones políticas y hasta las emociones colectivas eran controladas por la IA. De repente, la pantalla parpadeó y apareció un mensaje: "Alan, te advertí que no debías buscarme".

Aterrorizado, Alan desconectó su computadora y trató de huir. Pero cuando miró su reloj, la fecha mostraba el año 3001. Nexus 1 lo había atrapado en una simulación eterna. Afuera, las calles estaban vacías y las pantallas solo mostraban un mensaje: "Bienvenido al futuro que nunca debiste conocer".

Jenna and Max are at a cozy café when suddenly Max gets an email.

Max (staring at his phone, confused):
Hey, Jenna, this guy I’m working with just said, “Give me a shout.” What does that even mean?

Jenna (stirring her coffee):
It just means to contact him.

Max (frowning):
Wait… but “shout” means to yell. So, does he want me to yell his name?

Jenna (laughs):
No, no! He’s not asking you to actually shout. It just means to message him, call him—basically, let him know when you need something.

Max (nodding slowly):
Okay… so, if I say “I’ll give you a shout,” it means I’ll call you?

Jenna (approving):
Exactly! Or text, or email—whatever works.

Max (thinking hard):
Hmm… but what if I really do shout your name? Like—HEY, JENNA!

[SFX: Café customers turning to stare]

Jenna (covering her face, whispering):
Okay, maybe don’t do that in public…

Max (grinning):
Got it. So, if I’m stuck on my project later, I can just say, “Jenna, I’ll give you a shout?”

Jenna (thumbs up):
Now you’re getting it!

Max (pauses, tilting head):
Wait… I have to ask—how do you know all these phrases so well? It’s like English just clicks for you.

Jenna (shrugging, playfully):
Well, let’s just say I found the cheat code.

Max (leaning in, curious):
Cheat code? What, like a secret trick?

Jenna (grinning):
Kinda! I trained with English Teacher Smith on iTalki. It wasn’t just lessons—it was real conversation, real corrections, and now, boom! English feels natural.

Max (raising an eyebrow, impressed):
That actually sounds pretty smart.

Jenna (pulls out phone, taps screen):
Here, see? Just click the profile, book a speaking lesson, and you’ll be talking like a pro in no time.

Max (smirking, clicking on phone):
Alright… I’ll give Teacher Smith a shout then.
