Someone is sitting in 13D.


Matt
Excuse me. I’m afraid you’re sitting in my seat.


Nicole
Oh, really?

Nicole looks at her boarding pass.


Nicole
Yes, you are right. I got the wrong seat. I'm so sorry!


Matt
No problem.

A flight attendant approaches Matt.


Flight Attendant
Would you like something to drink?


Matt
Yes, I’d like to have an orange juice.


Flight Attendant
Sure. Here it is.


Matt
Thank you. May I recline my seat?


Flight Attendant
Yes, of course.


Matt
And, can I have a blanket, please?


Flight Attendant
Sure, I will bring you one right away.

On an Airplane

Você está familiarizado com as regras do plural? Este episódio tem por objetivo fazer com que você se sinta mais preparado ao utilizar as regrinhas dessa parte da gramática que é fundamental para a desenvoltura de sua fluência. 

O português assim como outras línguas românicas tem o plural como um papel importante na fala e escrita. A maior parte das classes de palavras são pluralizadas, como verbo, pronome, substantivo, adjetivo, numeral e artigo. 

Um dos aspectos interessantes do plural é que em alguns casos, a palavra poderá mudar em sua pronúncia ao pluralizá-la. Exemplo: ao pronunciar a palavra ovo no singular, o som da primeira vogal é fechado, porém ao pluralizá-las teremos o som aberto, ovos. Podemos utilizar essa regra com várias palavras terminadas em O, como: corpo/corpos, esforço/esforços, fogo/fogos, olho/olhos, osso/ossos, posto/postos, gostoso/gostosos (nesse caso, percebe-se que é na segunda sílaba que muda a pronuncia de aberta pra fechada) e tijolo/tijolos. 퇴근길이었다.
유하는 늘 그렇듯 이어폰을 꽂고 익숙한 골목길을 걸었다.
벽돌 담 너머로 고양이 한 마리가 느릿하게 지나가고, 오래된 가로등 아래엔 국화꽃 한 송이가 놓여 있었다.

그런데 오늘은, 누군가 그 꽃을 들고 서 있었다.
수트 차림의 낯선 남자. 창백한 얼굴, 그러나 눈빛은 또렷했다.

그는 유하를 보며 말했다.
“유하 씨 맞죠?”

“저를 아세요?”

그는 국화꽃을 유하에게 내밀며 말했다.
“이 꽃, 유하 씨를 위해 준비했어요. 처음 뵙지만… 오늘이 시작이었으면 좋겠네요.”

처음 만나는 사람이, 내 이름을 안다?
그날 밤, 유하는 잠들지 못했다.
그리고 다음 날, 그는 정말 다시 나타났다.

It was on her way home from work.
As always, Yuha walked down the familiar alley with her earphones in.
A stray cat sauntered past the brick wall, and beneath the old streetlamp stood a single chrysanthemum.

But today, someone was holding that flower.
A man in a suit, pale but with piercing eyes.

He looked at her and said,
“You’re Yuha, right?”

“Do I know you?”

He held out the flower to her.
“This flower… I prepared it for you. It's our first meeting, but I hope it’s the beginning.”

A complete stranger knew her name.

That night, Yuha couldn’t sleep.
And the next day—just as he said—he appeared again.

 길고양이 = stray cat

국화= chrysanthemum 

꿰뚫는 듯한 눈빛= piercing eyes
