日本語を知らなくても、「manga」「judo」「sushi」「tsunami」などの言葉を知っている人は多いと思います。「wabi わび」はどうでしょうか。「sabi さび」と一緒（いっしょ）に「わびさび」と言われることが多いですね。日本人が大事にしている価値観（かちかん sence of values ）のひとつです。とか何とか言いながら、実は100％日本人の私でさえ、よくわかんなかったんですよ。ウィキペディア以上（いじょう）に説明（せつめい）できるとは思いませんでした。でもね、この間、紅葉（こうよう／もみじ）見にいって、すこーしわかったような気がしたので、その経験（けいけん experience )をお話したいと思います。そして次回は「さび」へと続（つづ）きます。
