How to ask and answer "How are you?" in Hungarian

La evangelización de México en el siglo XVI fue un proceso donde los misioneros religiosos implantaron el catolicismo y la cultura occidental sobre los mexicas, y los demás pueblos indígenas del territorio, tras la caída del Imperio mexica. El proceso se inició en el siglo XVI y se fue extendiendo por el territorio al que llamaron Virreinato de Nueva España conforme iban haciéndose con el control de las tierras indígenas a lo largo de los años.

Los religiosos justificaron la conquista territorial iniciada por Cortés como un deber divino de expandir la palabra de Dios. Sin embargo, tal y como podrás comprobar, no fue una tarea fácil y la cristianización de los indígenas se extendió a lo largo de los siglos.

La bula Inter caetera (3 de mayo de 1493), realizada por el papa Alejandro VI, dio a los Reyes Católicos la obligación de evangelizar a los pueblos indígenas de las nuevas tierras encontrada un año antes por Colón. Para entender esta acción, debemos tener en cuenta que estaba muy vigente el recuerdo de las Cruzadas hechas durante la Edad Media con el objetivo de expandir y defender el catolicismo. Además, tenían como referencia la evangelización progresiva que se estaba llevando a cabo en ese momento en las Islas Canarias durante el proceso de conquista (1402-1496).

Tras la implicación de los Reyes Católicos en el proceso de evangelización de los pueblos indígenas, uno de los deberes de los sucesivos monarcas de la Monarquía hispánica, más adelante conocida como España, fue defender la inclusión de los indígenas en la fe cristiana. Aunque obviamente eso no implicó que no buscaran el beneficio económico y político al mismo tiempo, como bien se demostró y sabemos a día de hoy.

Previamente a la llegada de los misioneros religiosos a México, el propio Cortés intentó iniciar la conquista espiritual con la ayuda de fray Bartolomé de Olmedo. La figura de Hernán Cortés representó el ideal caballeresco y de las Cruzadas al controlar políticamente el estado mexica...
