さいきん、日本では5月10日に母の日がありました。お母さんの日です。お母さんにありがとう、と感謝をつたえます。日本では母の日に、手紙やプレゼントをわたしたり、お花のカーネーションをおくったり、家の仕事をてつだったりします。私の母の日のばあいは、お昼ご飯においしいステーキのレストランに家族みんなで行きました。サラダ、スープ、飲み物、ステーキ、デザートのコース料理を食べました。そのあとはケーキ屋さんに行って、ケーキを３つ買いました。今のきせつはメロンがおいしいのでメロンケーキを２つ、チョコレートケーキを１つお母さんに買いました。家に帰ったあとは、とくべつな夜ご飯をつくって”いつもありがとう”のきもちをつたえました。私が小さいときは、手紙で”ママ大好き！”と書いていましたが、もうはずかしいのでできません。でも大人になった今は、”いつもありがとう！”と伝えました。
