広い門の下には、この男のほかに誰もいない。

きりぎりすが 一匹とまっている。
羅生門が、朱雀大路にある以上は、この男のほかにも、
雨やみをする市女笠や 揉烏帽子が、もう二,三人は
ありそうなものである。

意味は、しめす、おしえる、などがあります。

例えば、

・指示ーしじ　誰かに対して、することをはっきり言うこと

・暗示ーあんじ　言葉や何かで、人の考えなどをコントロールすること

・明示ーめいじ　はっきり言葉にすること

・表示ーひょうじ　中にあるものをはっきりわかるようにすること
