【Vocabulary】
サッカー：soccer, football
始（はじ）まる：to start/begin  [Intransitive] 
最初（さいしょ）の：first
試合（しあい）：match / game
引き分け（ひきわけ）：draw / tie 
相手（あいて）：opponent
がんばれ：Go for it! / Good luck! /Do your best!
勝つ（かつ）：to win 

【Grammar Notes】 
🔶 [Time Period] + に + [Frequency]
Example：
四年（よねん）に一度（いちど） Once every four years
二日（ふつか）に一回（いっかい） Once every two days 
一週間（いっしゅうかん）に二回（にかい）　Twice a week
一生（いっしょう）に一度（いちど）　one in a lifetime

*There are two counters for frequency: 回(かい) and do 度(ど). While かい is most common in daily conversation, ど is sometimes used when counting special occasions.

🔶 Short form + と思います：I think that...
Example:
日本（にほん）が勝（かつ）と思（おも）いますか？ 
Do you think Japan will win?
あのチームは強（つよ）いと思（おも）います。 
I think that team is strong.

🔶 Imperative Form 
Used to give strong commands or instructions. It is often used in high-pressure situations like sports cheering, emergencies, or by those in authority.

Rules:
Ru-verbs (Group 2)　Replace the final る with ろ
U-verbs (Group 1)　Change the final -u sound to the corresponding -e sound.

Irregular Verbs (Group 3)
する (to do) → しろ！
くる (to come) → こい！

Example:
がんばれ！ Go for it! 
起きろ！Wake up!
走（はし）れ！ Run!
