カンパネラは しばらく聴きいった あと、「すばらしい音色だね」と ニコリと笑って、
指でピースサインを つくりました。
「それなあに？」
「しらないのかい？ 空中帝国に住む人間は、うれしいことがあったら、
　こうやって指を２本立てて、うれしさを表現するんだ」
ヨナヨナは、「こうかしら？」と カンパネラをまねて、ピースサインをつくりました。

「アンモナイトのオルゴールは、とてもやさしい音色だね。『森』に住む人たちの暮らしが
　目に浮かんでくる。空中帝国には こんなすばらしい音色はないよ」
「気に入ってもらえてうれしいわ。じゃあ、これはカンパネラにあげる」
ヨナヨナは アンモナイトのオルゴールを さしだしました。
「森のおみやげに どうぞ」
ヨナヨナはニコリと笑って、またピースサインを つくりました。

A man who identified himself as Dan Cooper demanded $200,000 and four parachutes, threatening a bomb on board. After securing the ransom and releasing passengers in Seattle, Cooper instructed the pilot to fly to Mexico City, but due to fuel constraints, they landed in Reno, Nevada. During the stop, Cooper disappeared with the money and one parachute. Despite an extensive search, the investigation into Cooper's identity and whereabouts has endured for decades, marked by numerous dead ends and mysteries.
