The best thing about TikTok is the sheer number of educational and informative channels available—there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re into learning new recipes, getting fitness tips, discovering life hacks, or watching history being explained in bite-sized videos, TikTok has it all. And let’s not forget the endless stream of comedy sketches and relatable content that can lift your mood instantly.
Of course, apps like Instagram and YouTube also remain hugely popular for entertainment, but TikTok's short-form, snappy videos seem to capture attention like nothing else right now.

Douyin, the sister App of TikTok used to be my favorite thing, its content is along the lines of TikTok’s you described above. But now, I just see it as a somewhat toxic App. Maybe it can help some people get lots of fun or further pleasure, I find it wasting time though, because I had always screwed and screwed to look for the shorts I expected to see. And in the end, I had often failed while it exactly killed much time.
