Well, I have many childhood memories that I could tell. The one that still brings me lots of joy is a specific moment, at school. Once a week we used to go to the school library. Although it was a public school in Brazil, I got lucky to have such a nice school, with good infrastructure and lots of children's books, which nowadays it's very rare to find good public schools like this. We used to call the school library the " Reading Room".
I remember what the teacher's face looks like, she was the teacher in charge of this room, although I can't recall her name. I remember the little girl that was painted on the curtains around the room, and how the wind was always blowing it up and down, while the sun was shining through it.
The teacher used to put several titles of books on each table. The room had 4 big round tables that helped to divide the children into 4 groups. We were allowed to read as many books as we wanted, I believe we had like 1 hour for this. By the end of the class, we could borrow a book from the school and return it when we finish reading.

I have great memories of the library too, I was even an assistant at the library in high school, but things have changed a lot with the Internet, they’re not quite the center of knowledge they used to be, which is good and bad in some ways.
