No : 9 Muthaiya saved his family for three years through farming. After that he couldn't gain more money from farming. At that time, he met his beloved. Kalyani was his father 's sisters daughter (cousin). He had the right to marry her according to Indian culture. But his aunt died and his uncle married another woman and had kids but he had lots of love towards his daughter Kalyani. His uncle was a rich person in Poongulam village. He did not easily allow her daughter to marry him. So that Kalyani had full freedom in her house. She always spent most of the time in the river, lakeside and forest areas and that´s why she knows every way to reach different places in the forest. Muthaiya decided to continue his upper studies and earn a Government job just like his father for the purpose of marrying Kalyani. So he went to Srirangam college and studied a course related to the cashier work by using his mother's gold ornaments. But his bad luck failed in the exam. While studying in the city side with his rich friends he learnt how to drive bikes and cars. Those incidents shook his mother. His mother died because of worry. She handed over his sister to him and asked him to protect her. He had to take care of his sister. He found job to work as a driver.
