* Watch that step! Don't trip over.
* I'm going on a short trip. Back in a few days. Just travelling around the south coast. Relaxing. Bit of sight-seeing.
* Our life has been quite a journey, but we've made it! Now we have a nice house, and good careers.
* Follow my journey through Asia as I discover all kinds of cultures over the course of 3 months.
I can't see myself using 'voyage' or 'excusion', as they're such fancypants words. But if I did, I'd probably use them in very short, cheesy questions. For example...
* 'Voyage' would most likely relate to a journey on a large boat or ship, with a strong feeling of being connected to the sea. For example: How's the voyage? Do you miss dry land already? Are you sea sick yet?
* 'Excursion' would most likely relate to a trip organised by an academic institution. For example: How was the Egypt excursion? Did you discover anything cool, or learn anything new? Did you get your hands dirty? Did you raid any tombs for gold?

Hello Mei. All these are synonymous, but in spoken language each has a certain context that its mostly related to. For example: trip is the most commonly used (ie lets go on a trip to the city this weekend)
journey is generally used to speak of more abstract things (their journey as a couple just started). Voyage is used in poetic type of writing ( I had just begun my voyage into an unknown land, but was brimming with excitement). And excursion is mainly used in advertising for resorts and hotels (at the pines resort, everything is within reach, fine dining, adventure, active night life, book your excursion today)
