Hello Lucy, this is a great piece! Well done! I have included a few edits below for your consideration. :) There was no night worse than today! The annoying buzz of mosquitoes echoed in my ears. No matter how much I covered my ears, I could hear the slight buzz in the darkness. Unable to bear it any more, I got out of my bed, switched on the light and quickly looked around, determined to swat mosquitoes. Though the buzz still existed, I couldn't find any mosquitoes. Eventually, I had no alternative but to sleep with the light on, which I didn't get used to. However, the moment I was about to fall asleep, the sound of birds chirping came from outside the window and woke me up again. It was dawn! Unknowingly, I stayed up late because of the tiresome buzz of mosquitoes! Well, personally speaking, I like every aspect of Summer except the mosquitoes.
