Hey, what's the difference between 'to come across' and to 'stumble across'?

Both connote discovery of something without really looking for it. "Stumble across" is a little more haphazard and passive, as if the object jumped in your way and tripped you.

Like the phrase jumped out from behind a bush and you almost tripped over it and, upon closer inspection, you knew that it captured exactly what you intended to say. Absolutely, use it.
