Interesting question... they tend to be used interchangeably, somewhat in error, but still communicates meaningfully.
In common usage, composition is the proportion of different parts to make a whole while constitution is the act, or process of setting something up, or establishing something; the composition or structure of such a thing; its makeup.
composition 1) something's ingredients like a budget/cake 2) creative work like an opera/poem
constitution 1) composition/ingredients like atoms in a chemical 2) document establishing an organization like US 5th amendment
Perhaps I should "plead the 5th" answering this question :)

Composition means the way in which something is put together or arranged. The combination of parts or elements that make up something.
Example:
-You compose a piece of writing
-You compose a written piece of music especially one that is very long and complex.
Constitution has many meanings:
1)A constitution is the set of political principles by which a place (state, nation) or organisation is governed, or the written document that records it.
2)The physical state of someones health especially the healthy, strength and appearance.
For example:
-He has a string constitution
2a) How something is made up or formed by different parts.
For example:
-The constitution of a society.
3) The act of establishing, making, or setting up.
For example:
-Before the constitution of civil laws.

2 very different words.
Composition- comes from "compose". Can mean what something is made of (like different ingredients). It could also mean a written piece of music, such as "I've only started writing songs last year. I have a total of 5 compositions"
Constitution - refers to the one you see in law or politics. Defining it might need more complex terms but to simply state, it is a set of practices or principles that a national (country) body follows. "Constituents" refer to people and in English, cannot really be used to refer to different ingredients or parts of a composition.
Hope this helps! 🙂
