Books are the traditional way to obtain knowledge. People read books and study for a very long time. Compared with the other five information mediums, if we get the same amount of information, reading a book is relatively faster and books contain more detailed expressions. That is why it takes longer to watch a TV series based on a novel rather than to read this novel. 2. The feedback efficiency. However, books only can provide knowledge without immediate feedback from readers. Film and theatre also fall into this category. People can go to a cinema or bookstore easily but they need to access the author’s blog or email them to share ideas. Comics, television or radio work better. In some channels, we can share our opinion with the presenters. High-quality communication means a closed loop of information exchange, not just one sided communication. 3.
