Teenagers should be treated according to their age and not as adults. However, this question is complicated if we consider the severity of the crime committed. We accept that justice is well given only when the punishment is as severe as the crime committed… Therefore, to be morally righteous when a teenager commits murder or other major crimes, there should be a punishment that fits those crimes.

We accept that justice is served only when the punishment is as severe as the crime committed… Therefore, to be morally righteous when a teenager commits murder or other major crimes, there should be a punishment that fits those crimes.

This sounds great! The only change I would make would be to change "well given" to "served".
