I spent with my friends today. I played around the city. It was very crowded there, and I was very tired of walking. But I was very happy to be able to go shopping and eat delicious food. It was hot during the day, but it was cool and easy to walk at night.

I spent today with my friends. I / We [played] /went /walked around the city. It was very crowded there, and I was /got* very tired of walking, but I was /felt very happy to be able to go shopping and eat delicious food. It was hot during the day, but it was cool and easy to walk at night.

*Some will tell you not to use the word 'got' and to find a better word; however 'get' and 'got' [past tense] are widely used in casual spoken English and it is useful to know this verb.
