Currently here in Cambodia, one thing I’ve learned while teaching a class of Khmer kids is the energy they have and the resilience they put when wanting to know something. My students show high intelligence and sure some students are less proficient than others but to me no one is “less intelligent” when it comes to learning a new language it’s either they are shy or not motivated enough, as a teacher we should gauge their interests based on what they play or do so that we can create lesson activities from games they enjoy!
