Hello everyone, I'm a native Danish speaker who would like to improve my business English. I have a hard time communicating clearly and concisely. Follow me, and we can exchange languages together!
Hello Fanu, it's nice to see you on here! I'm a native English speaker learning Danish. I hope you can correct some of my Danish submissions too! Here are a few comments about my corrections. I hope you find them helpful! That vs. who - always use who when referring to people. To explain yourself - I think what you mean here is to express yourself or to communicate, but I could be wrong. To explain yourself refers to, e.g., when you're explaining to a police officer/teacher/parent why you broke a rule ("that guy over there made me do it"), or to bystanders who are surprised because you behaved in a strange way ("I am not myself today"). :-) Short and precise - clearly and concisely is more idiomatic, and this phrase always describes communication. Also short is just an adjective, not an adverb.
