Does the sentence seem correctly?
The remarks are the same as they were previously.
May I put the adverb âpreviouslyâ before âthey wereâ: âThe remarks are the same as previously they were.â
Or between âtheyâ and âwereâ, not in the end of sentence, to sound more fluent: âThe remarks are the same as they previously were.â
And, may I use pronoun âitâ referring the noun âremarksâ, even though itâs plural: âThe remarks are the same as it were previously.â
orâŠas they were noted previously
orâŠthe remarks are as the same as they were noted previously

"The remarks are the same as they previously were."
This one sounds more natural to me.
You cannot use "it" for "remarks" because "remarks" is plural.
