The Tim じぁん!!!
Today is partly cloudy. In math class, we had a test on ratios and rates. I’d been practicing hard for it—like, all out—so I felt pretty confident. After school at the gym, one of my shoelaces came off while I was running on the treadmill. I asked Dad to help me tie it, but he got upset and said I embarrassed him. Why does he get so worked up over trifles like that? Maybe I should’ve learned to tie my own shoelaces by now. Honestly, I am able to tie them—they just come loose way too easily!

Tie them in a double knot, a lot less likely to come undone then. I guess the maths test was ok?

This is excellent. One little quip - a shoelace that "comes off" means that it falls off. In other words it becomes completely separated from the shoe, which almost never happens. If the knot becomes undone or merely loose, it means it needs to be tied up again. Does tha thelp?
