Last Thursday, I went to the Christmas Market with a friend. She is a year older than me and plays in the same orchestra, and we are very close. We went right after school.
I had expected it to be cold because it was outside, but the weather was surprisingly warm and comfortable. The market was lovely, featuring a large Christmas tree and stalls that looked like cute little buildings.
I bought a big butter pretzel. I was amazed that it was about the size of my face! It was incredibly delicious, with the butter fully soaking into the dough. After that, we went to another stand and ate hot chocolate, French fries, and beef stew. The beef stew was especially good; the meat was very tender.
After the Christmas Market, we went to a café to talk. We found a cozy corner by the window, watching the streetlights glitter outside. We talked about everything from orchestra practice challenges to our favorite books. I recently realized that milk tea and cinnamon powder are a great combination, and I really enjoy it. The cinnamon gives the milk tea a bright, beautiful aroma and makes it taste wonderful. Even though our time was short, it turned out to be a very fulfilling day.
