You would have to analyze what "crutch" means in "This approach is a bit of crutch". The word "crutch" can refer to one of those medical crutches for people with a broken leg, or you could say that it's a temporary, or "lazy" solution to a problem.
The complete sentence is saying that it wouldn't work in other companies because it's not an ideal solution, or it's incomplete. It's just a solution that would only work in the company you are in.
I don't know if this is the answer you were looking for.

Hi Dimin. This is a complex sentence! A Crutch is used as a support under the armpit by a person with an injury or disability. So in your sentence, the "approach" is a support which cannot be used (or transalted meaning transferred) to other companies. It implies that the 'approach' is not a good fix and will only support the company for a short while. The crutch is in effect propping up the company, and the approach may fail at some future point. It also implies there is a sickness, and the approach will not last. We also don't know what the approach is.

It seems like it should be A crutch. It's still not possible to tell what it means without more context.
