It's always hard to predict the future and all questions related to it, but there are things about to change with 100 percent probability, and I believe education falls to this amount. Education is a very old "invention", which originates from long-long times ago and has sustained lots of changes, therefore, there are no reasons to consider that the "evolution" will be suddenly stopped. It's only one question left - will this shift be for better? As for me, it's a very controversial query, which requires a lot of thinking. But the thing is, we, people used to think that the future always brings up progress. In other words, it makes our lives much better and way more convenient in a variety of aspects. But is it true on the whole? Yet, Herbert Wells in his The time machine, almost 100 hundred years ago, stated that any progress evoke and regress in its turn. And I assume that is pure truth, which extrapolate on all aspects of our lives, includingly education. The progress of education is very obvious and lies in the main phenomena of 21 century - the Internet. Loads of bites of opportunities to find something new you like in a few seconds, and learn anything in far faster pace then it was possible early on. On the one hand it's amazing. But on other one, because of the fact that the network is so available, and needed information pops up so fast, all these moments relieve the process of studying to the extent where you don't need to put any effort in order to achieve a good mark. Singularly, it comes to younger grades, where kids perceive albeit importance of the mark, but no the real knowledge itself. Like my younger sister who does her tasks in a couple of minutes, just by searching on the "right" sites. The availability breeds the temptation, which ultimately takes over. And what we see at the end? Students who has incredibly high marks in their diplomas and experience high expectation, but have much less true knowledge in their heads.
