I know some people may think that parents are the most influential for a child's learning, I would agree with this only if the children come from a complicated and poor family. For a normal family, children can grow up in a comfortable and safe living environment where they can live more independant and become confident.
In my experience, I see a lot of normal families where parents don't have a high education level but their children can grow up healthy and achieve great academic results. I think the most important reason is that, children study in a good school where teachers can educate students well.
Therefore, I believe a good teacher is a crucial element that helps in nurturing students' attitude and stimulating their interest to learn.
