We know we have spent too much time on short videos, such as WeChat, Bilibili, but it’s just too hard for us to quit. Why do we do this? Maybe because we’re built this way. In old times, focusing on the present helped us avoid dangers. And that got ingrained into our brains as we evolved. Now, there’re just too many temptations that we easily succumb to them before we realize it. Also, short videos may bring us fulfillment. Continuous stimulation just feeds our brains.
