It was sunny today. Last night, I saw my Meemaw receive an express delivery package. It was a rain drum. I bet most people haven't heard of it. It's basically a metal case shaped like unbaked bread dough. On its top, there are thirteen openings with flaps inside. When you hit these flaps with a stick they produce a melodious and echoing tone. However, in my opinion, the best way to "play" this thingy is to leave it on the balcony. On a rainy day, it will create its own unique melody by producing sounds as rain drops hit the flaps. I am really looking forward to a rainy day.
