Tao Te Ching（道德经 dào dé jīng）is a very important Chinese book of philosophy. It talks about what the world, or nature, is in Lao Tzu's eyes, and also how to rule a state（治国 zhì guó）, how to live longer（养生 yǎng shēng） and how to behave in interpersonal relationships（为人处世 wéi rén chǔ shì）. This book is full of wisdom, but is genuinely hard to understand, especially for today. The language is hard for a native Chinese speaker, even harder for a language learner. But it doesn't hinder me from sharing it because I really like this topic. If you feel it is too hard to understand, I would be glad you just have an impression of it. It takes time, and effort and even luck to be able to perceive this book, not by intellect but by heart.
