Part time job abroad Hey! :) I decided to work abroad this summer. I am searching for part time jobs (Europe only, German prefered) in internet. Have you ever worked in foreign country? Is here anybody who can give me some tips? :) I would be very happy for every advice

Thank you all so much :) Regensburg sounds great to me, because it's not so far, I will try to look for some job there
I checked the websites and fiverr.com seems interesting, but I don't know what can I offer now

I dont know what skills you have but you might want to check out sites like these:

www.upwork.com

www.fiverr.com

www.99designs.com

www.acx.com

I regularly pay people on these to do things like write webcopy, answer phones, brainstorm domains, photoshop, CAD.

All business comes down to 3 basic things:

Is there a problem that needs solving(even a contrived one)?

Are there people with this problem that have more money than time?

Can you convince them that your the person for the job? This is the hard one but you would be suprised how hard it is to find and keep quality people especially if your hiring for a skilled position.

In all too many a transaction it feels like people are pushing and shoving to get the best value for themselves while doing as little as possible for the other party.

If you over deliver and dont even ask about money people will be blown away.

Just do the work. Find a business that doesn't have a website and make one without asking. Walk into a kitchen and say you where told to wash dishes. If you look the part odds are no one will say anything if they do just explain that you need money and are having a hard time finding work. It would take a real asshole to let you work all night and walk away empty handed.

Worst case scenario they'll tell you to leave and you'll feel embarrassed maybe you wash some dishes for free. So what.

Dont forget to factor taxes. $10 under the table can be better than $15 over the table. this also circumvents the work visa which can be a real issue especially if you dont have work lined up before you go.

I wish you a wonderfull adventure.
