Hi,
Che cos'e la differenza tra 'hai voglia a mangiare ...' o 'tu vuoi mangiare ...' ?
Matt
Hi matt, really in the same, but is "hai voglia di mangiare?" or "vuoi mangiare?" In italian the questions have the same meaning, like in English do you wanna eat? vs wanna eat? but we really prefer the second, or better we use "hai fame?" Which is like "are you hungry"
ciao!
p.s. When you ask is "qual è la differenza tra.."
We have (at least) three forms in the 'modo indicativo' :
a. hai voglia di + /verb/
b. vuoi + /verb/
c. ti va di + /verb/ (/va/ is from the verb /andare/)
Their meanings are the same, what we use more often is form (c).
Hai voglia di... Do you feel like...
Vuoi... Do you want to...
Hai voglia di mangiare? Do you feel like eating?
Vuoi mangiare? Do you want to eat?
