Webcam or mic only?
For your italki lessons, do you normally use webcam or do you only use your microphone?

Hi Alissa,
As a teacher, I leave that choice entirely up to the student. Some prefer audio-only, some prefer to include the webcam, and some will ask that only my webcam stays on - ie. they can see me but I can't see them. Sometimes we both turn off our webcams to solve connection issues.
Feel free to choose whichever is comfortable for you. :)

I prefer microphone only as it forces me to really listen.
