It depends on that you are enjoying watching TV shows more than before or not...I remember that I enjoyed TV shows before especially when I was a teenager, They were fresh for me that time and there weren't similar subjects (like nowadays) at least in my point of view...But nowadays I rarely watch TV shows and some of them haven't good subject which have worth for watching and putting time...It is interesting that TV shows were very rare that time (Limitations in internet or not having good TV and different channels) but they were more popular than recent years with high increasing in technology!

I think they are getting worse, the shows that are good and beneficial are stopped whole the trashy shows are increasing and continuing.
