What's your reason for learning the language?
= Im learning other language because its fun. Whenever i am study other language, at the same time i am learning their culture and their ways of thinking.
What is your job?
你做什么工作？
= Currently im not working. I'm a student.
What do you do?
= I study at the Beijing university. I'm studying chemical engineering.
What is your age? / How old are you ?
你多少岁？ / 你多大？
= I'm ( ) years old.
What do you do in your spare time?
= When I have time, I like to watch movie in Netflix and play video games such as PUBG with my friends.
What does this mean?
= This means "Book"
What time is it?
= It is already 5.00 PM.
What is today's date?
= Today day is 15 September 2018.
What are your hobbies?
= My hobby is learning other language.

Trying to understand what is your question. Do you mean the colloquial ways we express these sentences?
For example,
What time is it? We say 几点了（ji dian le） instead of 现在几点钟了（xian zai ji dian zhong le）to your intimates.
