About instagram
I deleted my instagram yesterday.
Because I noticed it's not fun. And I lost my important time. SNS is sometimes make me fun. But not always.
Tell me about your SNS.

Yeah, I know that mostly people use Instagram to see beautiful pics of their stars and also show pretty selfies but that's not my cup of tea. I rarely post pictures or videos of myself and when I do, I don't wear makeup and don't use a filter because I'm not interested in other people finding me attractive. And I'm not interested in looking at pretty people. If they don't have any significant to say, I just unfollow.

I only started using Instagram last July and I love it. I use it for documenting my language learning and follow other language learners to get inspired. Especially when I'm taking part in language challenges it's motivating to see what others do for this challenge and also to receive feedback. I also follow several Russian and Spanish teachers to get my daily dose of micro language learning. And I follow other personalities who I find inspiring, for instance I follow Nyle DiMarco, Chella Man or Haven Faith Shepherd.

I deleted my Facebook account a couple of years ago because I found I wasted a lot of time scrolling through my timeline reading about people who I hardly knew.
I don't miss it at all.

I think SNS means Social Networking Site.
Personally, I try to avoid SNS sites, although, when used for a proper purpose such as described by Miriam, the sites could be useful.
