Dan and Terecia and everyone else
You may already know some or all of the following, but I thought it might be of interest to a few people:
The Naming of Google
If Larry Page’s friend had been more cautious with his spelling, we may never have heard of the word Google. Rumor has it that Larry Page’s officemate, Sean Anderson, suggested the name googol (derived from a googolplex: 10^googol) as a name for the search engine. Page, who liked the name, was keen on shortening it to googol and asked Anderson to register it as a domain name. Unfortunately, Anderson researched google.com and Page registered it immediately. When they eventually discovered the error, it was too late.
1 googol = called a googolplex = 1.0 × 10 to the 100th power = 1 followed by one hundred zeroes:
10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Gog goo eyes is a cute, old expression.
Here's the meaning for anyone who doesn't know:
The definition of goo-goo eyes is looking at someone with extreme adoration or love, sometimes so much so that it becomes a bit bothersome to others.
An example of goo-goo eyes is the look a woman has when her true love arrives to pick her up for a date.
<a name="_GoBack"></a>1 googol = 1.0 × 10100<o:p></o:p>
Once upon a time he built a machine, and it was working well, but he decided to change it. The new machine was very different from THE old machine and <s>(the new machine)</s> did not work properly. The machine users were very upsEt, <s>and</s> took their time and made the effort to help the machine builder TO understand what <s>the machine builder</s> HE will WOULD have to do to make the users happy. Instead of listening to the users and taking <s>to take</s> advantage of their helpful advice, the builder decided to paint the machine IN A different colour in the hope that everyone would be distracted. The cosmetic change did <s>does</s> not improve the <s>sitaution</s> SITUATION. So the users begged the builder to address the functional root problems. In response, the builder neither <s>responded</s> RESPONDED to nor thanked the users for their concern. Later, THE builder realized that <s>it </s>HE should have <s>been</s> listened to <s>it’s</s> HIS customers.
Now I am anxious to see if you can see the results of my proofreading.

What was their answer? Thanks to you Dan, I learned a new phrase, goo-goo eyes. That sounds adorable.
